Interview on Women Writing Grief

Cowgirl and her Dad

My first post on this last day of May, here is a link is to a conversation with Patricia Caspers Rogers on the Ploughshares blog series, Women Versing Life. Like me, Tricia is a poet who writes about the death of her father. Her fine manuscript is titled Life with Fever. I enjoyed working with Tricia

on this post...and there is so much more I have to say about the death of my father when I was 2 1/2, and how that loss has followed me. So maybe in later blogs.

I'm thinking of this blog as a way of listening to myself more closely: when I write, I pay attention. I hope some of you will join me as I check in occasionally. And leave me a comment when you do check in. I want to listen to myself, and I also want to hear you.
